GigBox: Never miss a concert near you
Are you a big fan of concerts and music and you wished that there was some application for android that will keep you updated about concerts around your locations. Well, GigBox provides you exactly this functionality right from your android phone. Also it seamlessly integrates with your last.fm account. Coupled with features like adding the event to your calender, giving you the map location of the concert and social media integration like tweeting the concert information on your tweeter account are some of the lovely features.
Following are some of the features of Gigbox:
- Find out when your favorite artist plays near you. With Gigbox you can search Last.fm’s huge database for artists, venues and concerts.
- Gigbox can tell you what happens near you, so you’ll never miss an exciting gig. On your way to the venue Gigbox is integrated with Google Maps and can show you directions.
- During the concert you’ll have access to the Live mode. In this mode you can chat with other concertgoers, giving your opinion about the guitar solo.
- Live mode also gives you an option for rating the concert – at the concert. This shows up as the current ‘mood’ of the crowd.
- At the concert you can take photos with Gigbox. All photos are shown to the other concertgoers in the Live mode screen. On mygigbox.com you’ll be able to see all the photos from past events.
